Canada’s first turbaned-Sikh Defence Minister Harjit S. Sajjan met with US President Barack Obama as part of the Government of Canada’s official delegation to Washington, DC. On the sidelines, Sajjan also had time to hang out with Hollywood royalty in fellow Vancouver boy Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and his lovely wife actress Blake Lively. Sajjan shared the picture on his facebook and LINK editor R. Paul Dhillon wrote: “That is Badass! But don’t be Deadpool’s Doppinder though! You’ve already been anointed Superhero status. Lol!” President Obama and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had a productive meeting, attended by Minister Sajjan, to discuss issues related to US-Canadian relations, including fighting climate change, creating jobs, and making our borders more open and more secure.
