SURREY – An exhibition of works of Canadian artists of South Asian background will be held in August in Delta. The exhibition will have paintings, photographs and sculptures.
Speaking about the exhibition being organised by South Asian Artists Guild, renowned artist Jarnail Singh said that when he coordinated with the Surrey Art Gallery to put up the ‘ From the Land of Five Rivers’ show in 2011, it received overwhelming response, and many artists urged him to organize another show like that.
He urged all artists of South Asian background to participate in this. South Asian Artists Guild is organising this exhibition With a view to showcase the works of Canadian South Asian Artists.
