VANCOUVER – Much needed effort to promote peace and harmony in the world is being made by Ahmadiyya Muslim community of BC by holding World Religions Conferences at several places including far off areas in Northern Canada wherein scholars of different faiths will unite together to seek and speak on the well being of the entire human race including the topic of “The role of women in building a healthy society”. All the conferences are being organized with the cooperation of local communities and faith leaders.

By doing so the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is not only spreading the Islamic message of peace in the world but they are also providing the much desired opportunity to other religions to join together and to spread the message of goodwill and peaceful coexistence as ordained by their respective faiths. The symposiums will be organized on September 17 at Tuk (Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories) on the shore of Arctic Ocean, September 18 at Inuvik, on September 19 at Dawson City and on September 21 at Whitehorse (capital of Yukon). Islamic scholar Mr. Muhammad Afzal Mirza will be coming from Toronto to present Islamic perspective and Gian Singh Kotli will be arriving from Vancouver, B.C. to present Sikh perspective at all these places, while the scholars for Aboriginal, Buddhism, Christianity and Judaism will be available to participate from around North Canada.  Mr. Rizwan Peerzada, President Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, B.C. and his team of dedicated volunteers are to be highly commended for this interfaith work.     (Mr. Rizwan Contact 604 767 1965)
