SUVA – A man who raped his daughter who is dying of cancer was sentenced to 17 years imprisonment with a non-parole period of 16 years as of this afternoon.
Suva High Court judge Justice Salesi Temo said the case was the most disgusting during his 19 years on the bench.
Justice Temo said the sentencing was a warning to such fathers.
The court heard the man had robbed his daughter of her right to childhood.
