While the world speculatesabout his next project, ArjunKapoor has become immuneto the works of the rumourmills.After successfully debutingwith Ishaaqzade, the newbiehas already started workingon his next project.And TOI can confirm thatit’s neither the love story thatdad Boney Kapoor’s supposedto be making, nor a movie withPradeep Sarkar opposite hisfirst co-star Parineeti Chopra.Instead, Arjun’s going towork with Yash Raj Films onceagain and it’s some time beforewe see him paired withParineeti.The movie, titledAurangzeb, will see the actorplaying a double role.While most young actorswould probably not risk a doublerole, considering it’d alsocome with double the expectationsfrom two characters inthe same film, Arjun told usthat he’s quite excited aboutthe challenge.
He said, “I’m very excitedand there really is no risk;there’s the challenge of provingthat you’re capable of handlingtwo different kind ofperformances in the samefilm.”While Arjun can’t give anydetails about the two characterstill YRF makes anotherofficial announcement, he toldus that the movie, directed byAtul Sabharwal, will test hispotential as an actor.
The actor, who considersSalman’s double role in Judwaaas one of the most memorableones, says that he has beenworking hard on preparing forthe two roles and it’ll be a coupleof months before themovie goes on floors in thesecond half of this year.
