VANCOUVER – An icon of Indian cinema and an internationally recognized humanitarian, the award winning Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi will speak about her life and work, focusing on the attitudes towards women on screen and in society, with Sex and Sensibility on June 11, as part of the SFU Vancouver Speaker Series.

The discussion, presented by SFU Public Square in partnership with the Indian Summer Festival, is of particular relevance due to the current political climate in India.
