SURREY – Canadian Eyesight Global, Giving the Light to the World, is celebrating 25th. Anniversary Gala Dinner on Friday September 26, at 6:00pm, at Dhaliwal Banquet Hall, Payal Centre, Surrey.

The Gala Dinner has been sponsored by Rotary Club of Surrey-Guildford, Rotary Club of Surrey, Rotary Club of Burnaby and Rotary Club of New Westminster. Greeting Messages have been received from the Governor General of Canada, Prime Minister of Canada, Premier of British Columbia, High Commissioner of India, Mayor of Surrey, Mayor of Burnaby, President of Rotary International and other VIP’s.

Canadian Eyesight Global is a registered  Canadian charitable organization, comprised of surgeons, doctors, business leaders and numerous volunteers concerned with global blindness. It is made up of individual Canadians concerned about those in rural India  and other developing nations who are especially vulnerable to blindness as well as those who have lost their eyesight. Canadian Eyesight Global formerly Project Eyesight-India, has helped thousands of blind people for restoration of eyesight by providing free cataract surgeries and unlimited people are treated for avoidable blindness in various parts of rural India, since 1989.

Canadian Eyesight Global next step is to build a Primary Care Eye Hospital facility near  Amritsar, India. If you are a Non-Resident India (NRI) and would like to help call us. If you have a piece of land or building near Amritsar, India, for the establishment  of the Eye Hospital or would like to sponsor an eye camp or to make a small donation, please contact us. The Rotary Club of Surrey-Guildford with support from Matching Grant of Rotary Foundation/Rotary International has donated a A.C. Mobile Ambulance Van, working in rural areas of Amritsar and Tarn-Taran Districts for prevention of  preventable blindness program.
