CHANDIGARH – Punjab Congress MLAs Lal Singh, Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Sukh Sarkaria and Parminder Singh today demanded the immediate resignation of state BJP president Kamal Sharma on moral grounds in view of the names of his associates surfacing in drug smuggling.
The MLAs also pressed for the arrest of two of his former associates and the dismissal of the police officials involved. “The names of Jugraj Singh Katora and Jimmi Sandhu have come out after the arrest of one Lakha Singh a few days back. Party action against them is not enough.
