TARN TARN – Upkardeep Singh Prince, district general secretary of the BJP, has been arrested by the Delhi police along with other members of a gang of inter-state vehicle lifters.
Navreet Singh Safipur, district president, said the matter was brought to the notice of state party leadership following which Prince was suspended from the party.
Sources said Prince was arrested by the Delhi police in connection with vehicle thefts. The Panchkula police later secured his custody and recovered a number of vehicles from the gang.
Safipur said there was no place for anti-social elements in the party.
