VANCOUVER – It’s a last-ditch effort from the BC NDP. The party leader has come up with 65 reasons why you should vote to scrap the HST, with slightly over a day left to do so.
Adrian Dix’s list highlights all of the things that were once PST-exempt, but you now pay HST for. It includes things like adult-sized clothes for children, home renovation service, appliance repairs, and certain safety equipment.
Dix says the Liberals spent $7 million during the campaign to confuse the voters.
Thursday, Dix rallied to get the attention of more last-minute voters near the old Woodward’s building in downtown Vancouver.
