CHANDIGARH – Sukhpal Khaira, AAP leader, on Tuesday said Congress state president Capt Amarinder Singh should first explain his absenteeism when he was an MLA and now, when he is an MP before questioning the performance of Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government in Delhi.
He said as per RTI information from 2007-14 during his tenure as MLA, he attended the House proceedings on just 13 days. Similarly, during his stint as an MLA, he, before being elected as MP in May 2014, attended the Assembly proceedings on three days. Khaira claimed his record was no better as Amritsar MP in the Lok Sabha.
