Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara To Host Mental Health Seminar

SURREY – The South Asian Mental Health Action and Awareness (SAMHAA) Society and Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara (GNSG) will once again be collaborating together to provide Gurdwara visitors an opportunity to participate in the first Mental Health Day seminar of 2012. The seminar, led by Dr. Gulzar Cheema, will mainly focus on providing relevant information about mental health and how to overcome the associated stigma and misconceptions.

As an organization that provides services and support to the South Asian community in the Lower Mainland, we are proud to partner with SAMHAA to increase awareness about mental health, wellness and how our community can provide support to individuals who are struggling with mental health issues.” Bikramjit Singh Sandhar, President
