TORONTO – Basking in the success of his new song ‘Chandni O MeriChandni’, Parichay is ecstatic about his second consecutive hit in Bollywood. The song from the movie ‘Char Din Ki Chandni’ starring TussharKapoor and KulrajRandhawa, is a remake of the blockbuster hit of the nineties. Produced by RDB with vocals by Parichay and SunidhiChauhan, the catchy song has become a rage with people across the globe, hitting the top 20 charts in India.
‘Initially I was a little apprehensive about how people would receive this iconic song with a modern spin. But, I am over the moon with the success that it has achieved. I tried to stay true to the original song but added my own twist to it. Infact, Tusshar and Kulraj were also very appreciative and congratulated me on the success of the song’, says Parichay.
Parichay had the opportunity to perform this song at the music launch of the film held in Mumbai recently, in front of the legendary Sridevi, RishiKapoor and Jeetendra. Not to mention he features in the video, which appears in the movie and was interviewed on the KomalNahta and Times Now TVshows. While his earlier hit ‘YamlaPaglaDeewana’ helped him establish a strong foothold in Bollywood, ‘Chandni’ has made him a force to be reckoned with. This success follows in the wake of his smash hit album ‘All New Everything’, songs from which have gone on to receive much appreciation worldwide. The single ‘TumHabibi’ featuring DTP Rapper Joe Louis has peaked at #1 on Sunrise Radio UK & #3 on Buzz Asia charts in London!
