VANCOUVER – The City of Vancouver is calling for nominations for its annual 2012 Cultural Harmony Awards.
The Cultural Harmony Awards were established in 1996 to recognize individuals and organizations that demonstrate a significant and sustained commitment to the promotion of cultural harmony in Vancouver.
The awards are a unique opportunity to recognize organizations and individuals who are making significant contributions in uniting our diverse communities. There are two categories of awards: individual and organization. Eligible organizations include non-profit groups or service clubs, educational institutions, hospitals, government departments, unions, professional and trade associations, media organizations and public or private corporations.
