SUVA – A million dollar revamped layer shed opened at Wainadoi’s Ram Sami & Sons egg factory. The state-of-the-art layer shed was opened by the permanent secretary for Agriculture, Colonel Mason Smith.
Ram Sami & Sons managing director Rajendra Sami said the revamped layer would house three times the value of chickens than a normal shed would hold.
“We’re expecting the production to increase to up to 27,000 eggs from the current 16,500 we produce now from the normal layer sheds,” Mr Sami said.
