FATEHGARH SAHIB – The Mandi Gobindgarh police have booked two youths for raping a 14-year-old girl belonging to a Scheduled Caste community at Jasra village in the district.
Girl’s father Harjant Singh, in his complaint to the police, said he went out of his house around 11 pm for some time. He alleged Harpreet Singh and Arvind Chauhan, working in an electronics firm located in front of his house, forcibly took his daughter in the workshop and raped her.
Harjant said he found his daughter missing from her bed and when he searched for her, he found her in the workshop. Inspector Balwinder Singh said a case was registered against the accused after looking at the medical examination report. He said a search had been started to nab the accused.
