Guru Nanak’s Food Bank celebrates Canada Day in North Delta

DELTA, BC: Guru Nanak’s Food Bank Delta, in collaboration with Janta Sevak Society, Mamta Foundation, and Akali Singh Society Vancouver, presented a remarkable event to celebrate Canada Day. This collaborative program highlighted the contributions of Canadian history and the Sikh community while showcasing the talents and stories of resilient children.

Hosted by the children themselves, this event promised a captivating experience with cultural performances, informative presentations on Canadian history, and heartfelt messages of unity.

The President of Guru Nanak’s Food Bank, Gyani Narinder Singh, expressed gratitude to all volunteers and sponsors and their support in creating an event that embraces compassion and togetherness. “This celebration of Canada Day serves as a reminder of the country’s commitment to fostering diversity, understanding, and harmony among its citizens.
