VANCOUVER – Navroz, the New Year celebrated by the Ismaili , Iranian , Afghani and the other communities around the world , gets more significance in the Lower Mainland this year as the world-famous Bollywood artist Adnan Sami joins them all at Vancouver’s iconic Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Sunday, March 22nd after a long gap of 10 years , for an evening of ‘ Celebratory Music ‘ featuring his foot-tapping hits along with soulful romantic ballads, which made him the most popular and loved pop artist in recent years.
Presented by Surrey Honda and Kamal’s Video Palace, the ‘ First Bollywood Concert of 2015 ‘ promises to be an evening to remember as the Indo-Pak band NAQSH featuring the ever popular Daksh Kubba with his talented band members, will join Sami for their first-ever performance at Queen Elizabeth Theatre at KVP Entertainers Navroz celebrations. As always , the Shiamak Vancouver dancers will rock the stage with their energetic dance performances and they’ll be joined by internationally acclaimed Canadian bharatnatyam dancer Sujit Vaidya, local dance celebrities Karima Essa, Devika Vishwanthan and Ashruti.
