A cheque for $5,000 was presented to the President of the Indian Ex-Servicemen Society of British Columbia, Colonel Sham Singh Dhillon, along with many members of the society and its executive board by the BC government. This one-time funding allotment, which was facilitated by MLA Dave Hayer, will assist the society to promote cultural awareness by reaching out to youth of all ages, as well as people of all backgrounds in our community.
