Raj Hundal, Surrey-Tynehead NDP Candidate joined with NarimaDela Cruz, President of the Surrey Philippine Independence Day Society and many others at Guildford Recreation Centre to attend a benefit concert to raise money for Philippine flood victims on Friday, December 30, 2011. The benefit concert was open to the entire community and featured more than a dozen B.C. Filipino-Canadian entertainers, such as Jerrica Santos and La Riva Dance Group. Proceeds from the benefit concert were sent to the Philippines through the Canadian Red Cross.
