Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society marked the National Volunteer Week by felicitating dedicated volunteers who generously donate their time to PICS, helping the Society deliver programs in an even more effective manner. PICS invited noted community leader Dr. Raghbir Singh Bains who was recently honored with the Prime Ministers Award for Community Leadership to give away certificates to PICS volunteers. Also present on the occasion were, Jinny Sims, MP Newton-North Delta; Jasbir Sandhu, MP Surrey North; Jim Mihaly, Publisher Surrey North Delta Leader.
