VANCOUVER – Western Canadians have the lowest level of satisfaction with their auto insurance company, putting ICBC at the bottom of the list.
The J.D. Power and Associates survey uses a scale of 1,000 points, with ICBC rated at 651. Top-ranked Canadian Direct Insurance scored 806. ICBC has company, as the second- and third-lowest ratings also go to government-owned auto insurers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Among the highly rated companies, CDI is followed by State Farm, TD Insurance and BCAA.
