TORONTO – Two Indo-Canadians men were arrested on Friday November 25, by members of the Peel Regional Police Commercial Auto Crime Unit in connection with a $100,000 tractor trailer load theft.
Police responded to a call for service for the theft of a tractor trailer, which was loaded with over $100,000 worth of seafood. Police arrested two males in connection to the theft and recovered all of the stolen property.
Sandeep Brar, 30, and Dharwant Gill 29, both from Brampton were arrested and charged with two counts of Theft and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Both are due to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on January 9, 2011.
