Lake Louise RCMP seek assistance to locate missing person

South Asian Man Missing In Alberta

LAKE LOUISE – The Lake Louise RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to locate a missing 35 year-old South Asian man from Edmonton.

On September 27, Jibran Khan Malik was reported missing to the Edmonton Police Service. Edmonton police began an investigation and determined that Jibran had travelled to Banff and Lake Louise. Since then, Lake Louise RCMP have confirmed Jibran was in the town of Lake Louise on September 29th.

Jibran’s vehicle, a dark grey 2009 Honda Accord was located on October 11th, in Lake Louise and police are concerned for his well-being.

Jibran Malik is described as:

– 5’8″ tall (173cm)

-180 lbs (82kg)

-Brown hair

-Brown eyes

Lake Louise RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen or had contact with Jibran Malik to contact the Lake Louise RCMP at 403-522-3812.
