BA – A lawyer charged with assault appeared in the Ba Magistrates Court and pleaded guilty.
Haroon Ali Shah is alleged to have assaulted Umesh Sharma of Yalalevu on March 16, 2011 outside the Ba Magistrates Court.
He appeared before Magistrate Vandhana Lal.
Sharma is the father of one of Shahs key witnesses in another case.
Shah pleaded not guilty to the charge. His case will be called again on July 11 for mention.
