The mother of current Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan talked candidly about her screen and personal life (her marriage to star cricketer Mansur Ali Khan created a stir), highlighting her acting path from legendary Bengali filmmaker Satyajit Ray’s early films to the bright lights of Bollywood and her diverse films from Kashmir Ki Kali to Aradhana and Chupke Chupke to international cinema in Mississippi Masala. The Indian Summer festival continues with events this weekend after its opening ceremonies last Thursday at SFU’s downtown campus.
