JEDDAH: According to arabianbusiness.com, Micky Jagtiani (Landmark) is the richest Indian in the Gulf Co-operation Countries (GCC) with a wealth of $3.2 billion. EMKE Group’s Yusuffali MA with $1.75bn is in the second place in Indian Rich List. Amongst the 30 richest Indians in the GCC nations list third place is occupied by New Medical Centre Group CEO, BR Shetty with $1.72bn.
Chhabria family, owners of Jumbo Electronics chain and PNC Menon occupy the fourth and fifth place, respectively.
Arabian Business deputy editor Edward Attwood who conducted the survey remarked that wherever you look in the GCC, there are so many success stories of Indian entrepreneurs who came to the region many years ago, and have created world class businesses worth several billion dollars.
