Nargis Fakhri, who made her acting debut with “Rockstar”, will now be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s “Madras Cafe”. The filmmaker says she will surprise
everyone in the role of a journalist. “Nargis suited the role and I can assure you that she is going to surprise everybody with ‘Madras Cafe’. She is playing a journalist in the film,” Sircar told in an interview. The film was earlier titled “Jaffna”. Nargis will be seen opposite John Abraham in the movie. An unusual pairing indeed. No? “I can’t reveal the story, but it was the demand of the script. You will get to know once you see the film. I hope the audiences like this pairing,” said Sircar, known for films like “Yahaan” and “Vicky Donor”. The first schedule of “Madras Cafe” is over. It has ,been shot extensively in south India. The second schedule will commence from March and will be shot in Mumbai, south India and abroad.
