Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan received a warm welcome and honour with Saropa from members of the moderate Executive, which was opposed to his candidacy and some of the moderate members on the current and former executive actively worked against Sajjan by creating much media frenzy and propaganda against him. I guess they have either come to their senses or this is just a forced public show of honour. Elections are also on the horizon for the troubled committee but either way it’s a positive step as Sajjan is deserving of the honour from the oldest Sikh Society in North America.
