They’re Back!

The moderates who were unceremoniously kicked out of the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara not too long ago by the Sikh Youth brigade are attempting to make a comeback and held a meeting recently in Surrey to whip the troops into shape. It remains to be seen whether they will employ the strategy used by the Ross Street moderates of getting non-Sikh (Hindus) and Dalits to vote for them. In any case – last time it was not much of battle as Sikh Youth won easily but the next election at the end of this year will be hard fought. But Sikh Youth have done so much progressive work in their short time that the moderates will find the road back to power a tough one!
