City of Surrey celebrated the official grand opening of its newest and largest aquatic facility, Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre on Saturday, June 11. Providing a variety of world-class diving boards, training areas for swimming, water polo and other aquatic sports—as well as the capacity to host competitive swimming events—Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre is approximately 94,180 square feet, featuring a 10-lane 50-metre FINA-certified Olympic-size main pool, leisure and lifestyle pool with a lazy river, spray features and waterslide.
