Court Dismisses “Murderer” Sajjan ’s Plea

NEW DELHI – District Judge JR Aryantoday dismissed Congress leader SajjanKumar’s plea seeking to drop nine CBIwitnesses in a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case inwhich he and three others are facingprosecution.Accused Sajjan Kumar, BrahmanandGupta, Peru, and Ved Prakash hadargued that these witnesses were “irrelevant.”The court also fixed January 10, 13 and15 for commencing the trial in the case.
