Dera Baba Dead But Devotees Insist He Is In Samadhi And Will Return Soon

NURMAHAL – Dr Kapil Chib,Medical Superintendent, ApolloHospital, said they got a callfrom the dera late last night.“We rushed our team there. Butby the time our medicosreached there, the patient wasdead,” he said. Asked if theyhad issued a death certificate, hereplied: “We were not asked to issue any such certificate”.Addressing a press conferencethis afternoon, dera chief spokesperson Swami Vishalanand said: “Sewadars noticed Ashutosh Maharaj in the same posture from 12.15 am to 2.30am. They got panicky and informed the security following which doctors fromthe Apollo Hospital were called.“Ashutosh Maharaj has gone into samadhi andcan control his breath, pulse and heartbeat. We feel he will regain strength in twodays,” he said, claiming that 12 years ago, Ashutosh Maharaj had gone intosamadhi and then returned to normal life.
