ABOHAR – A group of men allegedly attacked a farmer and his son over a canal water irrigation dispute at Amarpura village, 10 km from here on the Abohar-Hanumangarh road. The injured were taken to the Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital here from where they were referred to a Sriganganagar hospital, where the farmer, Ram Kumar (70), succumbed to his injuries.
As per information, Kumar had four months ago bought a piece of land from a villager, who had a dispute with some persons over some money transaction. A case has been registered against five persons.
