It’s not Sunny Leone who you see inthe Jism 2 poster.The visual that’s raised temperaturesmuch before the release of this eroticthriller by Pooja Bhatt, is actually ofNathalia Kaur, who you saw gyrating inRam Gopal Varma’s Department.One look at the film, and you’ll get toknow that the silhouette of the woman isnot of Leone.Says Pooja Bhatt who we contacted toverify our doubt, “A year ago, when it wasbeing speculated that the film will featureeither Bipasha Basu or Mallika Sherawat, Idecided to whet people’s appetite with asexy poster.I called my friend, photographer JoyDatta, who deals with dusky Brazilianmodels, for options.
I chose Nathalia fromamongst the ones he showed me.”The poster was shot at Pooja’s farmhouseduring the monsoon, much beforeLeone was even signed up.Later, Leone was shown the poster ofNathalia, seeing which she decided to signthe film.At the same time, Ram Gopal Varma,knowing that Pooja had signed up Leone,wanted her for an item number for hisfilm.
Pooja refused, and Varma eventuallywent to Nathalia for the item number,proudly announcing her as his discovery.In fact, after seeing the poster of Jism2 which actually has Nathalia, Varma evencalled Pooja to say that “I would be thefirst man standing in a queue to buy a ticket!”Little did he know that Pooja wouldlove to tell him today that she had discoveredNathalia one year before he foundher.
