SURREY – Progressive Intercultural Services Society, a nonprofit organization serving new and recent immigrants in the lower mainland through innovative and multifaceted programs, announced appointment of Shahnaz Rahimtula, Gurdip Singh Basra and Sarwan Singh Randhawa to the organization’s board of directors.

Rahimtula is an enterprising business woman who runs a successful notary practice. Basra is a highly experienced manager in the railway industry and has developed strength in leadership through his years of working with a range of regulatory agencies such as the Department of Fisheries and Ocean, Environment Canada, Transport Canada and various municipalities. Randhawa is no stranger to PICS Society as he has served on the PICS board in previous years.

“We are thrilled to welcome leaders of this caliber to our board,” says PICS CEO Charan Gill. “All of these individuals have a track record of successfully developing the organizations they have joined and this makes them an excellent addition to the PICS board.”
