FAZILKA -Resentment is brewing among teachers and lab attendants under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) as they have not been paid for a long time. Parmod Bishnoi, president of the SSA RMSA Teachers Union, Fazilka, said 93 laboratory attendants working in the state had not been paid their salaries for about a year.
Teachers wore black badges today as a mark of protest. “Besides, 10,661 teachers working under primary and upper primary categories have not been paid for three months,” said union leader Mohinder Korianwali.
