Naad Foundation, headed by the affable Amarjeet Singh, paid a glowing musical tribute to Sarangi Maestro Sultan Khan last Sunday At Crossroads United Church-Delta. The free concert was a part of Naad’s new series of monthly concerts for the local Indo-Canadian music lovers as well as to promote music and art. The evening’s music was provided by the renowned Ustad Surjeet Singh (disciple of living legend great Sarangi Maestro Pandit Ram Narayan). Accompanying on Tabla will be Amarjeet Singh. Naad has classes for Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Classical and Folk Music, Gurbani, Sufi, Ghazal, Tabla, Dilruba, Sarangi, Guitar, Flute, Keyboard, and Dance. Well-trained and accredited teachers will be teaching students with extreme care and passion.
