VANCOUVER, BC: Writers International Network (WIN) held its annual awards event to honour Dr. Dalip Khetarpal, Sherry Duggal, Ibrahim Honjo, Ana Napieralski, Remei delos Reyes, Carla Shafer and Juergen Bruhns at the Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre in Vancouver.
The keynote speaker and chief guest was Dr Khetarpal who spoke about placebo effect and its manifestations as an integral part of a person’s life based on one’s religious conviction, place of birth, and culture.
He launched his latest book, “Placebo: The Worlds of Pain, Religion, Mysticism and Medicine” followed by another book launch of Selected Poems by Ibrahim Honjo.
